The laboratory aims to build sustainable capacity in terms of infrastructure and collaborative research relationships with local education and community partners in Singapore.
A joint laboratory space was created in 2013 at Republic Polytechnic to facilitate research based learning opportunities for students and enable further engagement to be developed with stakeholders. Initial funding for the project was from JCUs Action For Sustainability Grant.
